They have sent me a letter to say I have a website and domain name with them from 3 years ago and I owe them money.

I do not have a website or domain name with them.

I believe they are scamming people with these claims.

a nightmare!
a nightmare!! I spent 30 min. to get the domain name i wanted: name-name.Jimdo.com
Then I built the site within 2 hours. I then noticed that it was given another name: NewName-NewName.Jimdo.com - what i not wanted.
The system offered a new domain name (still within the site creation), which I did but that one was not for free any more.
So i paid over $ 100 for the name, hoping that the created site will get it. But no! The old site still had the undesired name!!! What a stupid system and waste of time. Why they propose a better name if it is transferred??

Jimdo harassment
Jimdo decided to hire a debt collecting company for claiming 'an unpaid' invoice from more than 3 years ago.
Not a single reminder, not a phonecall, not a letter in those 3 years.
Despite it being illegal to claim anything after more than 2 years of said purchase date, Jimdo refers to the debt collecting company instead of entering into a normal dialogue. I get weekly threats with addictional costs from the debt collection company and jimdo is doing nothing. I guess Jimdo is losing money and trying to extract money in another way than fair business. STAY AWAY FROM JIMDO. They are crooks.

They put their prices up and up and you can't leave.
They doubled their prices on the second bill, then went up even more on the next bill, which I refused to pay. They blocked my email and website almost immediately, and ask debt collectors to get the money for the time when they did not provide the services. The finally replied to my emails saying they will not discuss the debt with me anymore and even if I pay they will return the money to me. They did not provide copy of the contract and did not inform me about consumer rights. AVOID - SCAM.

Chased for payment for services not provided.
I had a premium website with Jimdo, which I stopped using in 2019 and opted not to renew. I am now being chased by a debt collection company they sold my information to, claiming I owe them money and referring them to clauses buried in their Terms and Conditions.

I have no way of proving I cancelled the service, which I did via my user account. Jimdo were useless and quite rude in fobbing me off: they told me to check my spam folder (in June 2022) for emails sent in 2019!

I did not use any services so will refuse to pay this debt. Others are finding themselves in a similar situation.

Please do not use this unscrupulous company.

JIMDO- erroneous charges followed by terrible customer service!
JIMDO SELLS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!

I was a Jimdo customer from 2016 to 2018, at which time I closed my business website mid year.

In 2019 I received an automated email from Jimdo with the title 'Your Jimdo subscription is coming up for renewal'. I received a second email with the title 'Please renew your Jimdo website'. The titles of these emails indicated to me that Jimdo had accepted my cancellation and that they wished me to reengage my subscription. As I had closed my business and they were clearly automated, I did not respond, not wishing to attract more spam.

OVER THREE YEARS LATER I am suddenly being harassed via text and email by a German collections agency claiming I had an unpaid bill from Jimdo for a contract from 2019 to 2020. This came as a complete surprise given that I had cancelled my service prior to the 2019-2020 billing cycle, so I contacted Jimdo, certain they would quickly rectify the situation as it was clearly an error. Despite having explained that I cancelled my service over three years ago and that of course I did not pay an invoice sent for a service contract for the year after I had cancelled, Jimdo has informed me that I must deal with the collections agency and that they will not respond to my case. Their 'customer service' representative was extremely rude and dismissive.

I am disgusted- I cannot prove that I cancelled the service as it was done online and has been well over three years since it was cancelled. Jimdo charges in advance for a year of hosting, so I certainly did not receive free services for which I was contractually obligated to pay. I do not appreciate my personal details being sold to a collections agency for a service which I did not receive and which I had cancelled well in advance of the cancellation deadline.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY- this company is deeply unscrupulous and dishonest and very unhelpful in sorting out their errors.

I am very disappointed
I am very disappointed. I setup a website with jimdo back in 2018/19. When It was time to renew they put a block on the account and gave me time to cancel so I did. To my surprise I received an email in June 2022 from a collection agency called Pair finance saying I owe £200.
I immediately contacted Jimdo directly via email as there was no phone number. It has been around 2 weeks and I still haven’t heard from them.
What kind of world is it that we live in that company’s feel they can bill you for a service 3 years after for something you didn’t even use? Please answer your emails and let’s get this sorted!

Not bad pretty good!
Other than not having a tech support number to call and not being able to do everything on the phone app like you can with the computer, everything else was great. They responded to my emails in a timely manner and answered my complicated tech support questions professionally I'm satisfied.
